Do you have an
interest in the environment? The Milford Conservation Commission
is in need of new members dedicated to help us in our mission: “…….
to encourage the sound management of Milford’s natural resources for
current and future generations.” We are involved in a variety of
activities, such as trail construction and repair, stewardship of
protected land and review of applications for work in wetlands. No
experience is necessary; we provide opportunities for interested members
to attend workshops during the year to learn more about the environment
The Commission meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7 PM in the
Selectmen’s Meeting Rm. of the Town Hall.
If you think you would
be interested in helping out or would just like to learn a little more
about what we do, come to a meeting, view our Web site at http://conservation.milfordnh.info/
or call 672-1070
The Milford Zoning
Board of Adjustment continues to seek volunteers to serve as Alternate
members. Alternate members are called upon to serve when there is
not a quorum of regular members present to hold a meeting. Alternates
serve as voting members when they sit in the place of a regular member.
No experience is necessary other than a willingness to serve the Town
and to learn the Zoning rules and regulations. Meetings are held the 1st
and 3rd Thursdays at 7:30 PM.
If interested in serving please call 673-2257 for more information or
fill out the Volunteer Application Form and bring into the Town
Administrators office in Town Hall.
